Provisional Results posted for Garmin Hamble Winter Series Race Day 8 - 2nd December

As next weekend (Sunday 2nd) is the final raceday, protest will be heard after racing. This amends the SIs so that protests can all be heard this Sunday as soon as possible after racing.

What to expect from the 2012 event, which starts this Sunday

A Competitor has informed us that it is not immediately clear from the SIs that Marks 8L to 8Y (Temporary Laid Marks) will be used regularly, despite the fact that they are not included in the summary of Race Marks on the back of single page SIs. However they are included in the full mark list issued as an addendum.

Sailing Instructions & Bow Stickers are now in the post to all entrants in the Garmin Hamble Winter Series & the MDL Hamble Big Boat Championships

Due to lack of entries in lower rated IRC boats, we have closed the entry for boats with TCCs lower than 1.080.

Please note that there is no time limit for entering the Big Boat Championships.

Due to lack of entries there will be no smaller boat classes and no second start line. Minimum IRC TCC is now 1.015.

After this date, Main Series Entry fees increased by £50 for all Garmin Hamble Winter Series Entries for the entire series.

HRSC Members should apply through the office for their 20% discount.

Garmin Hamble Winter Series

7th, 14th, 21st, 28th October; 11th, 18th, 25th November; 2nd December

Class Racing each Sunday for IRC Classes 0-4, J/109, Sigma 38, J/111 & Mixed Sportsboat Classes - 2 races per day before mid-series break, 1 race per day after the break (November 4th)

MDL Hamble Big Boat Championships

6th/7th October; 20th/21st October

Racing on first and third weekends of the Winter Series. A two weekend 10 race championship for the Farr 45's, J/111, Beneteau First 40*, Beneteau 40.7*, & All IRC classes.
* also National Championships on 6/7th October.

Lewmar Hamble One Design Championships

13th/14th October; 27th/28th October

Racing on second and fourth weekends of the Winter Series. A two weekend 14 race Championship for SB20, J/80, J/92 & Quarter Ton Classes and 12 Race Championships for J/109 & Sigma 38 Classes.
